New Nauru Airlines Freight Manager Appointed
- Media Releases
Koren Ball has been appointed as the new Nauru Airlines Freight Manager. Koren brings with her almost two decades of aviation experience, joining the Royal Australia Air Force in 2000.
She has also spent the last ten years working in the commercial space, including the Middle East and Pacific.
“I’ve been working all over the world moving weird and wonderful freight for the military and NGO’s, so I am looking forward to bringing that experience to Nauru Airlines,” Koren says.
Not only does Nauru Airlines carry passengers all over the Pacific, but the airline also provides the opportunity for fresh food, mail, medication, pets and a plethora of other fright to reach its final destination as quickly and easily as possible.
“It’s exciting to see our capacity in the Pacific grow and I look forward to servicing our customers’ needs with this increased capacity,” Koren says.
“Our additional Nadi and Island Hopper service means we can now move more freight, including mail and fresh food, to the islands twice a week.”
Having a service that moves cargo in the Pacific assists with everything from ensuring pets reach their loved ones quickly, as well as crucial items like medicine and fresh food.
One of the points of difference of Nauru airlines is that the airline has the ability to also carry freight in seat packs in the main cabin.
“This allows us to move much larger quantities of freight on flights with lower passenger loads,” Koren says, adding that it’s a point of different which allows Nauru Airlines to adapt to the needs of their customers.
2019 is shaping up to be an exciting year in freight for Nauru Airlines, and it sounds like there are big things to come.
